John Caldwell: Granite Country

The untouched and primeval quality of the Australian landsacpe, particularly the granite country that extends from Bathurst in NSW to Stanthorpe in southern Queensland, is dramatised in this exhibition of paintings and drawings by John Caldwell. For the artist, 'it is the landscape we see at a distance as we pass on the highway heading for other places'.
