Education and Outreach
UTS Gallery Education and Outreach Program provides education resources and in-gallery workshops for high school and tertiary students. Our resources are designed to assist teachers and students in Visual Arts, Design and Technology, Social Science and English as a second language courses. Primary school creative learning experiences are available on request.
UTS Gallery is dedicated to engaging with the current and future community of UTS and the local community including Indigenous TAFE and College students. We aim to create an inviting, informative space that draws on the resources of knowledge and creative thinking available to us in the University environment.
The Education and Outreach Program is designed to broaden the experience for visitors, providing enjoyable and stimulating activities to compliment high school syllabus and tertiary course content. It offers an enhanced understanding of the work on display in an accessible and supportive environment.
UTS Gallery Education and Outreach Program is supported by the UTS Widening Participation Strategy (WPS). The WPS is assisted by the Australian Government through funding from the Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP) distributed by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DWEER).
